Fight against fraud in casinos
One of the biggest worries for casino owners is to control any irregularity which could be taking place within their business. For this reason, they are very happy with the latest Kris Zutis’ project, a youngster of 22 years old who has recently graduated from Dundee University. As a final project to complete his studies, he created an innovative technology which analyzes the information provided by the casino cameras using different algorithms, which will allow casinos to identify players who are counting cards during the blackjack game in order to predict which one will be the next. Even though counting cards is not illegal, casino managers can act and move the individual to another table or make him to leave the casino, but under no circumstance legal action can be taken. This new system, which is not yet finished, has already created a lot of expectation, as it could be very useful to finish with fraud in land based casinos. So far, this kind of practices has not been reported in online casinos, so we can still enjoying our favourite games without any worry.
